Thorsten Soltau est un jeune musicien allemand nourri aux mamelles concrètes de la musique électro-acoustique et de la Techno germanique. Initié à l'expérimentation à l'Avantgarde Festival du faustien Jean-Hervé Péron, il n'hésite pas à construire des morceaux ambient brillants tout en usant les techniques du DJing pour des lives à la playlist fournie et obscure, comme ce "Rhetismeta" de 80 minutes composées de disques qui lui ont été offerts tout au long de l'année.
